Sonographer

Join us for a Sonographer role at Women’s Health Arizona . Overview Perform all pelvic and obstetrical ultrasounds, sonohysterograms, amniocentesis, and chorionic villi sampling. Travel to East Valley locations (Chandler, Ahwatukee, Gilbert, Casa Grande) as needed. Responsibilities Review patient medical records and referral information. Order and communicate ultrasound procedures in Athena. Prepare patient and room, educate patient about the procedure. Execute ultrasound, capture images, measurements, and Doppler samples. Create a viewpoint report for each ultrasound. Present abnormal findings to physicians. Bill for procedures performed. Maintain equipment by cleaning and sterilizing probes. Submit supply order requests and report equipment problems. Complete quality assurance tasks and attend meetings. Attend annual HIPAA and OSHA trainings. Assist in training new sonographers. Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization, time management, leadership, and computer skills. Patience, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with team members and patients. Ability to remain composed in unpredictable, emergency, and crisis situations. Requirements Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification. Maintain CPR/BLS certification and complete annual courses. Possess or obtain Nuchal Translucency certification. Maintain a minimum of 10 ultrasound CMEs per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
