They set the pace and flow of the kitchen to ensure all dishes are properly prepared and served correctly.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient flow of orders from servers to kitchen.Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority with all orders ready for a table at the same time.Assist in final preparation of dishes.Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.Inquire about any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest served.Provides an accurate description of dishes delivered.Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus.Ensure adherence to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards.Maintaining cleanliness by picking up any debris or spills/grease on the floor.Communicate needs of the guests to FOH & BOH staff, managers, and Chefs.Mark shared dishes with the appropriate utensils.All other duties as assigned.Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods.Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs.Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Skills / ExperiencePrevious Expo experience in high-volume restaurant.Excellent listener and communicator.Ability to focus on guest interaction and multitask.Team player and able to anticipate others’ needs.Positive Attitude.Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
