About the role Fleet Equipment, an industry leader in trailer and equipment leasing and sales, is looking for a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trailer maintenance, particularly with tractor-trailers and related equipment. This role requires the ability to diagnose issues, align components, and fabricate parts as needed. The Trailer Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our fleet. What you’ll do Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractor-trailers and other industrial equipment. Repair trailers to manufacturer specifications. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal performance of trailers. Assemble various components of trailers, ensuring proper fit and functionality. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in vehicle maintenance, specifically with tractor-trailers or similar industrial equipment. Strong understanding of schematics and mechanical systems related to trailers. Ability to align components accurately according to specifications. Experience with fabrication techniques is preferred. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
