Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Full + Part Time Afternoons, 3pm-11:30pm, Available Only The Certified Nursing Assistant cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse. This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies. Provide direct resident care, includingassistancewith bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinent care as applicable, oralhygieneand feeding. Measure and record vital signs, weight,percentage of meal consumedintake/output as directed. Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and position using proper body mechanics and lift equipment as applicable. Respond promptly to call lights, resident needs, and changes in condition; report observations to licensed nursing staff. Support residents’ independence and dignity, while ensuring safety and comfort Maintainaccurateandtimelydocumentation andin accordance withfacility procedures Follow infection control,safety,and universal precaution guidelinesat all times. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive living environment Maintains a clean,safeand comfortable environment Providespostmortemcare Makeroutine rounds on each assigned resident every two hours. Provides skin care andobservesresidents’skin when giving care and reports changes to licensednurse. Modifies own behavior in response to residents’ behaviors. Is aware of developmental tasks associated with the agingprocess. Contributes to the residents’ assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the plan of care. Education and/or Experience: High School Graduate/GED Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within120 daysof employment; nameentered intostate nurse aide registry. Minimum Qualifications: Computer skills arerequired. Meets all state and federal criminal background check requirements.
