Job Description
Exciting Night Shift Opportunity for Dedicated Healthcare Professionals!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Winter Coverage: Required from 11/2 to 2/27 (Alternative dates will not be considered)
- Weekend Work: Every other weekend required
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Preferred Certifications:
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- Experience Required: 2 years of nursing experience
- Holiday Scheduling: Expect to be scheduled for 2 out of the 3 major holidays
- Time Off: Automatic approval for 7 days of RTO outside of blackout dates (Nov 22-Nov 30, Dec 21-Jan 4)

Skills & Qualifications:


- Charge Experience:
- Minimum 2 years preferred
- Patient Ratio Experience:
- Experience in managing patient ratios in high-paced environments
- Charting System Experience:
- Proficient in Epic
- Travel Experience: Required
- State License: Valid CA License required at the time of submission

Key Skills:


- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Care of ventilated patients
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Triage
- General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi
- Level II Trauma Center experience

Additional Information:


- Candidates will float within the hospital when needed
- 2 Supervisor references preferred
- Background policy to be noted prior to submission for approval
- Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours from signing
- 119 contract weeks assured
