POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a compassionate, detail-driven Dental Assistant who wants more than a task list. Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring clarity and accuracy to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain clear and honest communication with patients regarding procedures, post-care instructions, and any questions they may have. Uphold strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments following all health and safety guidelines. Manage patient records and assist with scheduling, billing, and other administrative tasks with transparency and precision. Work aligned with the dental team to create a cohesive, supportive environment that delivers real results and patient satisfaction. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our care standards. QUALIFICATIONS Dental Assistant certification or relevant training recognized by the state of Illinois. Previous experience in a dental office preferred but not required; we value a willingness to learn and embody our core values. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and trust in patients. Procedure Assistance Efficiency: Assist in dental procedures with zero critical errors or delays, contributing to timely and smooth appointments. Radiograph Quality: Achieve a 98% acceptance rate of dental x-rays with minimal retakes, ensuring diagnostic quality. Appointment Turnaround Time: Help maintain an average patient appointment turnover time within the clinic’s standard, balancing speed with quality care. Documentation Accuracy: Maintain 100% accuracy in patient records, billing, and treatment documentation to ensure transparency and accountability. Team Collaboration: Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions, contributing ideas and feedback to enhance aligned care delivery.
