Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Occupational Health - Full Time /Day Shift

Location & Shift Facility: GSS ND Larimore Ctr Shift: 12‑hour day shifts (7 am–7:30 pm) Schedule: Full time Hours: 12 hours daily; every other weekend & holiday rotation Compensation & Benefits

• 26+ per hour (based on experience)
• 25,000 sign‑on bonus (first $12,500 paid after 60 days)

Medical, Dental & Vision coverage Additional shift differentials for weekends 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, generous time‑off package Job Purpose The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The LPN demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, performs testing, administers medications or treatments, documents care, and works effectively with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provides nursing care to residents of all ages. Performs testing and evaluates data reflective of resident status. Administers medications or treatments as ordered. Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with residents, health‑care providers, and the public. Counsels residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans. Develops self‑care programs based on resident education principles. Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing preferred. If IV therapy/management skills are required, possess a North Dakota Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy curriculum or a completed IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility or completion of a pre‑licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the lifespan. Current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing Board and/or multi‑state licensure privileges. Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training of the department and facility. Valid LPN license in North Dakota.
