Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

License: New York State License in Radiologic Technology required.

Certifications: ARRT in CT, ARRT R, BLS required.

Must-Have:

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiology.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.

Description:

Graduate of an approved school of Radiology is required. A valid New York State License in Radiologic Technology is required. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in CT is required. A minimum of two years of experience in CT is needed. Experience in adult acute care and outpatient services is preferred. Knowledge in 3D rendering techniques is a must. Competency in performing scans without and with contrast for abdomen, chest, and pelvis is required. Experience in pediatric care scenarios is preferred. Ability to prepare and administer contrast media is essential. Understanding of radiation safety protocols is necessary. Experience with multiplanar reconstruction techniques is preferred. Exposure to emergency department settings is advantageous. Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams are essential. Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes, including holidays and weekends, may be required. A commitment to patient care and safety is vital.
