ABOUT THE ROLE

Develop technical documents within the engineering department to support multiple facets of the business.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

Documentation Creation: Develop comprehensive and user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, specifications, release notes, and troubleshooting documentation. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content. Content Maintenance: Regularly update and revise existing documentation to reflect product updates, enhancements, and changes. Monitor user and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improving documentation. Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Product Managers, Sales, and other teams to gather information and ensure product functionality and documentation alignment. Quality Assurance: Conduct reviews and edits to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all written materials. Perform usability testing to validate the effectiveness of documentation. Documentation Standards: Establish and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and best practices. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure documentation remains relevant. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor’s degree Field of Study Preferred: Technical Writing, English, Computer Science Required Work Experience: Four years of experience as a Technical Writer Travel Requirements: N/A Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
