Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Responsibilities Perform and manage day-to-day activities related to own area (e.g., operating cash register, catering, pantry duties), under less supervision. Utilize and update the Food Service department computerized inventory control management system. Resolve queries and provide support through prompt response and courteous service. Understand/ track dietary needs, allergens, and special meal preparations. Maintain and follow regulatory standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and freedom from hazards and infections; Follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines when handling food. Stay updated with the latest trends in the food services industry. Escalate all customer comments and complaints to the appropriate leaders. Complete all assigned training, including seasonal beverages, promotions, and annual competencies. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Experience Requirements 2+ years of relevant experience required with a High School diploma. No prior experience required with a Bachelor’s degree. Some direct hospital experience, in food services/ cooking in institutional kitchen/ catering, preferred. Some experience in hospitality service environment performing activities related to own area (e.g., Food preparation, Coffee/Beverage preparation), preferred. Good understanding of safety and sanitary requirements of a food service operation, preferred.
