Job Requirements

• Valid physician credentials with the ability to obtain hospital privileges
• Board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician preferred
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with 3 years of emergency department experience will be considered
• Clean file preferred for emergency privileges consideration
• Experience with standard emergency medicine procedures and acute care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred if not otherwise met through specialty-specific background

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care for a broad range of standard ED cases
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform standard emergency medicine procedures as needed
• Work collaboratively with nurses, techs, APPs, and other on-shift physicians
• Support patient flow in a busy emergency department with consistent daily volume
• Participate in rotational coverage and maintain smooth transitions during shift handoffs
• Deliver safe, efficient care in a welcoming Dickson, Tennessee community setting
