Clinica Recovery LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our compassionate homecare team in Oakland, New Jersey. Work Environment

This full-time role involves working onsite, primarily in patients' homes, which presents a unique and dynamic work environment. You will conduct therapy sessions in various home settings, allowing you to adapt your approach based on the patient's physical space and resources. Your schedule will primarily consist of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life environment that many healthcare professionals appreciate. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing extensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs, ensuring high standards of care during home visits.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, functional training, and manual therapy techniques to enhance patients' strength, mobility, and balance.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor patient progress, promptly communicating any significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist to facilitate timely adjustments in care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.
• Deliver compassionate hands-on care while ensuring patient safety during all therapy sessions, using best practices to minimize risk.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and services rendered, utilizing electronic health record systems as required.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those who have sustained injuries, and patients managing chronic illnesses. Qualifications

• Current and valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Jersey is required.
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is essential.
• A strong commitment to delivering patient-centered care with a compassionate approach.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are mandatory for travel between patient homes.
• Proficient at managing a caseload independently within a homecare setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred, especially in home health or outpatient settings.
• Previous experience working within multidisciplinary teams to support complex patient needs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
