More about our team In September 2022, our surgery unit became a National Bariatric & Robotics Training Center for Lifepoint Health, averaging over 600 robotic cases yearly. Most commonly we perform bariatrics, general, urology and GYN procedures. We have 2 Da Vinci robots and are proud to have recently added a team of vascular surgeons, expanding our scope of practice. How you'll contribute A PACU RN who excels in this role: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patients and families; provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Free Parking What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: BLS, ACLS and PALS required Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
