LVN/LPN LTC Float Pool - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend is required.
The position is for an LVN/LPN in a Long-Term Care Float Pool. The role involves floating between various units such as LTAC, LTC, skilled nursing, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, locked Behavioral Health, rehabilitation, and Stepdown/PCU units, catering to both medical and behavioral health patient populations.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer patient care and medication as per protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status.
- Support both medical and behavioral health patients.
- Perform necessary procedures such as Foley catheter insertion, feeding tube management, and isolation precautions.
- Assist in daily living activities and provide patient education.
Required experience/certifications/licensure:
- 2 years of LVN/LPN experience required; LTAC experience preferred.
- Active Maryland LVN/LPN license required upon submission.
- BLS certification is required.
