Electrical Engineering Co-Op (Spring 2027)

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op , Spring/Summer 2027 in our Middletown, PA office. As an intern, you'll participate in developing competencies in a variety of electrical engineering specialisations as they pertain to New Product Development and 3rd Party Certification. The ideal Co-Op candidate is available to work onsite in Middletown, PA, Mondays through Fridays from January 2027 through end of August 2027. What will you do? Design, build, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sub-assemblies and products, using schematic capture and PCB layout program named Altium, various digital and analog test equipment. Coordinate new designs and design changes with engineering, CAD, technical writing, test engineering, and production ensuring that both product and customer documentation is correct and current. Research, review, evaluate, document, and implement product improvement concepts and design enhancements to increase productivity and reduce cost. Actively participate in developing and refining product development processes and procedures. Formally recommend process improvements. Test prototypes and products in the engineering test lab for safety, performance, and conformance to requirements. Research and determine requirements for electrical components and systems. Education Actively enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program in Electrical Engineering or an Associate's Degree program in Electronics Technology or similar disciplines, from an accredited institution. Experience Ability to work collaboratively on a team & have good communication skills both verbal & written Qualifications Must provide own mode of transportation and housing stipend available based on distance from office.
