St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Berlin, NH, is an 74-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are looking for an experienced, Full Time Nursing Home Administrator to join our management team.

· Ensure that ethical business practices are followed at all times · Develop and implement a QPPI plan in compliance with established CCNH guidelines
· Monitor Standards of Care and Quality Indicators and incorporate results into the QAPI process
· In conjunction with the Medical Director, ensure that all licensed independent practitioners are credentialed and operate within CCNH, Federal and State policies and regulations · Participate in analysis and corrective plans related to any quality standards that do not meet established thresholds
· Delegate administrative authority, responsibility and accountability to other employees as deemed necessary to perform their assigned duties · Ensure that resident rights are integrated into all aspects of resident care · Actively participate in the investigation, reporting and follow-up of all incidents · Implement and monitor recruitment, selection and hiring process to ensure effective staffing of all budgeted positions
· Establish and lead monthly recruitment and retention committee and implement effective programs to retain employees · Ensure that center operates in compliance with State and Federal employment laws, including but not limited to EEO, Child Labor, INS Regulations and Federal Wage and Hour · Oversee coaching, counseling and disciplinary process in compliance with established CCNH standards · Actively participate in the termination process and ensure compliance with all CCNH policies and State and Federal laws · Monitor census mix and Medicare/Medicaid acuity mix to meet or exceed budgeted guidelines · Demonstrate ability to control expenses within budgeted guidelines and utilize spend-down sheets for all supply and expense accounts
Requirements · Bachelor Degree in health care administration, business administration or related field · Licensed NHA by the state of New Hampshire or eligible for reciprocity · Two years of experience working as a Nursing Home Administrator or two years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a health care facility and successful completion of an AIT program All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age Equal Opportunity Employer
