CATERING ATTENDANT (PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for part‑time Catering Attendant positions at Harris‑Stowe State University, 3026 Laclede Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63103. Applications are accepted online only. Schedule Part‑time, Monday through Friday. Hours may vary; weekends as needed. Compensation $15.00-$19.00 per hour. Responsibilities Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations. Log and maintain food temperatures. Arrange tables and decorations. Arrange buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards. Serve food and beverages to guests. Thoroughly clean the event location after the event is completed. Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility. Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions. Stock, clean, and maintain the catering facility and equipment. Ensure guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete menu and products on hand. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. May drive a catering delivery truck as required. Qualifications Prior customer service experience. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol server’s permit where mandated by state law. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. Background Screening Florida Level 2 background screening may be required.
