35,000 visits/year

Full-service hospital with a 24/7 Hospitalist program, air medical and ambulance services, CT/MRI in the department, bed-side ultrasound, and point-of-use supplies in every room

42 hours of physician coverage/day

Tertiary center with 300+ physicians & specialist support to keep patients in house- Trauma surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, GI, ENT, Pediatric Hospitalists, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Anesthesia, Radiology, etc.

Only transfers out < 1% of patients

Practice at one site!

Teaching opportunity- residents, med-students, PA/ARNP students

Base salary: $490,116/year ($261.81/hr)- Night shift ; $471,265/year ($251/hour)- Day Shift

$100,000 recruitment bonus

Up to $15,000 moving allowance

1620 hours/year for Full-Time

Annual CME allowance of $6,000

Employer paid liability insurance and tail coverage

Qualifications:

BC/BE Must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible

Must complete an ER Residency Program or ER Fellowship

H1B & J1 candidates encouraged to apply

Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required

Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
