Hospitalist Physician for Mercyhealth System, Freeport, IL - $345,000

Opportunity Overview Full-Time Position 7 on / 7 off Schedule 12-hour shifts 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Day Shift) Night Shift opportunities available with premium compensation Includes weekends and holidays EMR transitioning to EPIC E-ICU support model currently in place, transitioning toward expanded in-house coverage Departmental Scope Hospitalists manage a wide range of inpatient cases including: Acute medical admissions Chronic disease exacerbations Post-surgical medical management Care coordination and discharge planning Collaboration with primary care and specialty providers Strong system-wide collaboration across Mercyhealth's Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin network.
