Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) nursing to join our team. This position is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Position Overview

The Acute Travel RN will work primarily in the Operating Room, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal surgical outcomes. This role requires proficiency in surgical procedures and effective communication skills to support the surgical team and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and prepare for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the surgical process, providing the necessary support to surgeons and surgical teams.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and recovery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute care or surgical setting.
• Current certifications as required by the job, including BLS and ACLS.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make critical decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information

Orientation for this position is held weekly on Mondays. All travelers must meet required certifications before starting, and the client reserves the right to request additional certifications as needed.
