We hope you'll consider joining our team of experienced professionals who are building their careers at Kalles Group—and having fun while doing it.THE OPPORTUNITY:We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Security Engineer to support a Fortune 100 organization in strengthening governance, security, and operational maturity across its enterprise Power Platform environment.This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys operating at the intersection of security, governance, automation, and platform operations. You will help design and implement governance controls, automate remediation activities, improve operational efficiency, and drive security outcomes across a large-scale low-code/no-code ecosystem.This is not an application development role.We are looking for someone who can take ownership of outcomes, navigate ambiguity, identify gaps and opportunities, and proactively drive work forward with minimal direction.Success in this role requires both technical depth and strong stakeholder engagement skills.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Governance & SecurityDesign and implement governance controls across Power Platform environments.Develop and maintain remediation playbooks aligned with enterprise security requirements.Identify security, compliance, and governance gaps and drive remediation efforts.Support onboarding and operationalization of new security controls.Improve visibility into platform security posture through reporting, dashboards, and governance metrics.Automation & ToolingBuild and maintain automation using PowerShell, REST APIs, Power Platform Admin APIs, Microsoft Graph, and related technologies.Develop tooling to reduce manual governance and compliance activities.Create scalable workflows for policy enforcement, monitoring, remediation, and reporting.Support secure-by-default deployment and operational governance practices.Stakeholder PartnershipPartner with security, engineering, compliance, and platform operations teams.Translate business and security objectives into actionable technical solutions.Facilitate discussions, make recommendations, and help drive decisions.Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Program MaturityHelp establish repeatable governance processes and operating models.Reduce dependency on tribal knowledge through documentation and knowledge sharing.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalability.Contribute to long-term governance and risk reduction strategies.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKESuccessful candidates:Take high-level objectives and independently create execution plans.Proactively identify risks, blockers, and opportunities.Drive work forward without waiting for detailed instructions.Demonstrate ownership of outcomes rather than simply completing assigned tasks.Bring recommendations and solutions to stakeholders.Build trust through clear communication, accountability, and follow-through.Balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution.Operate effectively in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.ABOUT YOU:Your values:Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.Your experience:5+ years administering and securing Microsoft Power Platform environments in enterprise organizations.Experience designing and implementing governance programs for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, or related Microsoft platforms.Strong understanding of:Power Platform AdministrationPower BI AdministrationEnvironment Strategy & GovernanceData Loss Prevention (DLP) PoliciesTenant AdministrationIdentity and Access ManagementSecurity and Compliance ControlsExperience developing automation using:PowerShellREST APIsMicrosoft GraphPower Platform Admin APIsExperience implementing governance, remediation, and compliance workflows.Experience working directly with technical and business stakeholders.Ability to operate independently in ambiguous and evolving environments.Preferred experience:Microsoft FabricZenity or similar low-code/no-code security platformsPower Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)Defender for Cloud AppsMicrosoft PurviewDataverse security architectureEnterprise governance and remediation reportingFortune 500 or large enterprise environmentsSecurity engineering, GRC, or compliance programsThe ideal candidate is viewed as a trusted advisor, not simply an implementer.You are comfortable leading conversations, making recommendations, and driving progress.
