Job Summary: The Customer Service Support Team Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the Customer Service Support Team remains responsive to customer and internal requirements in a timely manner. This position serves as a liaison between vendors, customers, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities: Training & Development Train new employees on internal processes before transitioning them to their dedicated positions. Mentor team members to elevate the skill level of the entire group. Recommend and implement process improvements. Initiate dispute resolution and engage sales as needed using independent judgment. Facilitate problem-solving within the department and support team members with complex issues. Actively contribute ideas and improvements to management regarding ERP, quality, and process enhancements. Customer Focus: Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers through proactive communication. Participate in customer meetings and conference calls to resolve issues. Maintain a working knowledge of Krayden operations and other departments. Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Inventory Management to resolve issues and improve processes. Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and responsiveness in supporting internal sales and service-related requests. Compliance & Other Duties: Ensure compliance with departmental and company-wide standards (AS/ISO, TCP, Export Control). Perform other duties as assigned in support of management and departmental goals. Qualifications: 3–5+ years of experience in customer service, customer support, or a related role, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to make sound decisions independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and with external customers. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Prior leadership or team lead experience with demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop employees.
