We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Artline and Reflections Apartments in Washington, DC. You will help uphold "People First" philosophy by ensuring our communities remain clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents, tenants, and guests. You will work at Artline Apartments, our modern and recently renovated residential properties in Southwest DC near the Wharf & Nationals Stadium. Artline features 187-unit Class - A apartments, this property includes modern luxury finishes, a rooftop deck, a fitness center with on-site instructors, parking garage, club rooms & underground storage.

Reflections Apartments our adjacent property with 160-unit Class - A apartments that includes amenities such as a private courtyard, fully equipped fitness center, pet play area, reserved parking for residents and many more amenities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of routine and preventive maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. You will have very solid experience with performing routine repairs and service on PTAC units.

Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergencies, including participating in after-hours on-call rotations.

Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to maintain TBC's high standards.

Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds-including trash removal, landscaping, and snow/ice removal as needed.

Document work performed, manage inventory of supplies, and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Collaborate with property management and other team members on special projects and unit turnovers.

Communicate courteously with residents, staff, vendors, and contractors, reflecting TBC's commitment to service and professionalism.

Uphold the dress code and represent the company's values of integrity and respect

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred.

2+ years of relevant maintenance experience, ideally in property or community management.

Broad knowledge of building systems: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling), and work indoors/outdoors in various conditions.

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

HVAC certification and CFC certification or relevant trade license strongly preferred.

Experience with property management or maintenance software.
