Environmental Health Supervisor

The Fairfax County Health Department is a progressive public health leader serving 1.2 million residents from diverse ethnic, cultural and economic backgrounds. With more than 100 years of leadership in the field, we are committed to promoting population health, protecting public health and the environment, and ensuring residents' equitable access to health services and information. This position collaboratively organizes, supervises, and evaluates Environmental Health (EH) operations. Ensures the enforcement of county, state, and federal environmental health laws, codes, and regulations. Develops, and reviews standard operating procedures and policies and procedures; makes recommendations as needed. Collaboratively develops and strengthens individual leadership skills and promotes teamwork. Provides direction and support for staff to ensure delivery of environmental health/public health services.
