Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will utilize your skills as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to:

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored therapeutic plans for couples and families, addressing a variety of needs and issues.
  • \n
  • Engage with clients in one-on-one sessions while also facilitating joint sessions for couples, ensuring a comprehensive approach to therapy.
  • \n
  • Specialize in addressing family dynamics related to alcohol abuse, physical and psychological abuse, grief and loss, conflict resolution, and communication challenges.
  • \n
  • Support clients through job-related stress, medical issues, and the complexities of blended families, separation, and divorce.
  • \n
  • Create a safe space for clients to discuss sensitive topics, helping them navigate their unique circumstances with empathy and understanding.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will directly benefit a diverse client population, including adults as well as children and adolescents. You will be instrumental in addressing their unique mental health needs through evidence-based therapeutic interventions and by fostering an environment of trust and healing. Your work will also involve collaboration with other health professionals to ensure a unified approach to client care.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Georgia.

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
