Project Engineer (Multifamily Construction) (Remote)

Our client, a company focused on developing and building multifamily apartment complexes, is seeking a Project Engineer to support their construction operations.

This is a highly administrative and coordination-focused role, designed to support project execution by managing documentation, permits, and communication between internal teams and subcontractors.

The primary function of this role is to support construction projects through administrative coordination, documentation management, and communication with vendors and subcontractors.

• Manage and track project documentation, including plans, permits, and contracts
• Assist with RFI (Requests for Information) creation, tracking, and follow-ups
• Support permit submission processes and ensure compliance with local requirements
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and construction documents
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for updates and information gathering
• Assist project managers with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Track project timelines and ensure documentation aligns with progress
• Communicate updates across teams to ensure alignment and efficiency

• 2–5 years of experience in construction, project engineering, or related roles
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and workflows
• Experience handling RFIs, permits, and project documentation
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Experience in multifamily construction projects
• Fluent Spanish (highly preferred) to communicate directly with subcontractors
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)
• Experience working with distributed or remote construction teams

• Full-time, remote position
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PST
