Position Overview
Role Summary: Under the guidance of the Medical Director of Cardiopulmonary Services and the Department Director, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering direct patient care in all facets of respiratory treatment, adhering to physician directives and established protocols, while considering the patient's age. This role involves providing respiratory care and life support to individuals experiencing issues within the cardiopulmonary system. Key clinical responsibilities include:
- Establishing and overseeing mechanical ventilation.
- Providing emergency respiratory care.
- Supporting cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts and performing intubations.
- Monitoring patients' physiological responses to treatment.
- Educating patients and their families regarding their health conditions.
- Instructing on effective disease management strategies.
Sign-On Bonuses:
$20,000 sign-on bonus for Respiratory Therapists with less than one year of experience.
$30,000 sign-on bonus for Respiratory Therapists with over one year of experience.
