Cyber Resilience Business Analyst

job summary:
Randstad Digital is seeking a specialized Cyber Resilience Business Analyst to support a high-priority enterprise initiative within a Cybersecurity Resilience and Business Operations organization. This is not a general-purpose Business Analyst role. The ideal candidate brings dedicated experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational readiness, and cyber resilience program execution within large, complex enterprise environments. Serving as a crucial liaison across cross-functional teams, you will drive resilience planning, coordinate exercise testing, develop metrics and status reporting, and optimize business continuity processes to ensure the organization can prepare for, withstand, recover from, and adapt to cyber disruptions.

responsibilities:



Cyber Resilience & Readiness Planning: Support organizational resilience initiatives, disaster recovery coordination, and business continuity planning to maintain operational readiness across critical enterprise systems.

Exercise Planning & Testing Coordination: Coordinate and execute operational readiness assessments, resilience exercises, and scenario testing to evaluate recovery capabilities and identify gaps.

Requirements & Process Engineering: Elicit, document, and manage functional, technical, and business requirements; map end-to-end workflows and sequence diagrams to drive continuous process improvements.

Program Execution & Stakeholder Engagement: Drive cross-functional execution of cyber resilience initiatives, facilitating workshops and maintaining strong communication with key business and IT leaders.

Resilience Metrics & Executive Reporting: Develop, track, and analyze resilience metrics and KPIs to produce actionable reporting on organizational readiness and risk posture.

Governance & User Adoption: Ensure strict compliance with policies, controls, and procedures while providing change management, user training, and comprehensive documentation to support seamless adoption.

qualifications:
Core Experience: Direct, hands-on experience in Cyber Resilience, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) within a large, complex enterprise environment.

Specialized Capability: Demonstrated success supporting resilience-related programs, risk management initiatives, operational readiness assessments, or cross-functional continuity efforts.

Methodologies & Tools: Expertise in business analysis methodologies, process flow mapping (MS Visio), requirements traceability management, and test case development (e.g., HP Quality Center, Jira, or similar).

Cross-Functional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of stakeholder management and workshop facilitation.

Analytical Problem Solving: Strong capability to execute project deliverables independently, resolve operational roadblocks, and convert complex data into executive status reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry & Systems Exposure: Experience within Travel, Transportation, or large distributed systems environments (e.g., SAP, Ariba, POS systems, mobile applications).

Certifications: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or related resilience/risk credentials (e.g., CBCP, CRISC, ITIL).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
