Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans and providing ongoing support tailored to each client's situation. \n
- Maintain and manage a caseload of clients, responding promptly to their needs with timely intakes and ongoing evaluations. \n
- Perform psychotherapy and counseling with individuals, couples, and groups to address and treat a variety of mental health disorders. \n
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide immediate support when clients experience acute challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being. \n
- Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including educators and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services. \n
- Adhere to all Mental Health policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. \n
- Refer clients as needed to appropriate community resources, including specialized care and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services, ensuring continuity of care. \n
- Regularly screen clients for substance use and provide necessary counseling or referrals to additional resources. \n
This role primarily focuses on supporting a diverse population of students, families, and groups grappling with mental health challenges. You will encounter a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, ensuring that cultural competence and personalized care are at the forefront of your approach. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Current LCSW licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. \n
