Step into a rewarding opportunity delivering high-quality physical therapy services across several schools within a supportive K-12 environment. This part-time contract position offers the chance to work 20 hours per week, making a genuine impact on students' mobility, independence, and school participation.
You'll play a key role in guiding students through therapy, conducting thorough evaluations, and providing supervision and mentorship to Physical Therapist Assistants. What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Physical Therapy license
- Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings preferred
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to supervise and provide direction to PTA staff
- Clear, positive communication with students, families, and staff
- Adaptable and comfortable working across multiple schools and age groups
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform evaluations to assess students’ needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor ongoing progress
- Deliver therapy sessions, focusing on functional mobility, gross motor skills, and participation in school activities
- Supervise PTAs, ensuring therapy interventions align with students’ goals and best practices
- Consult with educators and families to create supportive strategies within the school setting
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and professional standards
