What You'll Be Doing

• Operate a 70 ton haul truck to transport rock products from the underground mine to the processing plant and stockpiles as directed
• Able and willing to work in an underground limestone mine environment with room heights of 27 feet tall
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support plant operations.

What Are We Looking For

• Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety, compliance with regulations and desire to learn.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
• Willing to work up to 10-12 hrs/day; 6 days/wk when needed
• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation

Conditions Of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
