Airway‑Focused Pediatric Dental Office – Patient‑Centered RDA/CDA

Compensation

Pay: $18 – $26 per hour.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Licensed and certified: CPR, Basic Life Support, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) / Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), X‑ray / Radiography Certification
• Interest in airway dentistry and whole‑child approach
• Experience with nitrous and coronal polishing certifications [preferred]
• Lifelong learner

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dental assisting (pediatrics experience a plus)
• X‑ray certified (required)
• Nitrous (N2O) certified (preferred)
• Coronal polishing certified (preferred)
• Familiarity with Dentrix or willingness to learn
• Passionate educator who believes in prevention
• Looking for career growth

Responsibilities

• Rolling out the red carpet for our tiny patients and their caregivers.
• Assisting chairside with pediatric procedures, including cleanings, airway education, and restorative treatments.
• Obtaining diagnostic radiographs (Dentrix imaging).
• Documenting in patient charts (Dentrix).
• Scheduling follow‑ups and preventive visits.
• Preparing charts and space for a smooth, efficient day.
• Pitching in wherever needed, supporting team members.

Schedule & Hours

Family‑friendly schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (four‑day work week).

Team huddle by 7:00 AM; typical day ends by 4:15 PM. Some Wednesdays are more flexible depending on IV‑sedation schedule.
