Job Summary

Focus on collecting, selling, and/or promoting financial products by offering effective customer service and orientation in order to retain and acquire more clients, contributing to the achievement of sales and collection goals. Manage collections in the assigned segment, evaluate, make visits, and generate calls manually or using the auto-dialer tool. Identify the client's need or that of new prospects to help them choose the financial product that best suits their needs and their ability to meet payment. Guide clients who are close to repaying their loan to renew it through attractive offers in order to retain them. Conduct field visits to validate employment. Manage through visits to clients with overdue accounts or in delinquency for 30 days or more, in order to bring them up to date through collection, payment plans, renewal, restructuring, or any other loss mitigation alternative for the company in compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation, such as Electronic Transfer Funds (Reg. E), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B), Fair Housing Act, Privacy Of Consumer Financial Information, Regulation CC/Check 21, Truth in Lending (Reg. Z.), Truth in Savings Act (Reg DD), Unfair and Deceptive Acts or Practices (Reg. AA), Regulation 57220OCIF (Interest Rates and other Charges on Loans), Regulation 5782 OCIF (Interest Rates and other Charges on Small Personal Loans) Regulation 5793 OCIF (Chapter 13, Charges for Returned Checks).

Essential Functions

• Manage collection through visits to clients, make and attend collection calls, and transfer them to the corresponding personnel if necessary. Make sales through telephone calls and to clients who come to the office, including follow-up on interested clients.
• Complete client application forms, follow up on approved applications, and verify credit risk and opportunities.
• Achieve sales of RBO (Refinance Balance Only) renewals or restructurings.
• Assist at the cash register.
• Visit clients or their references, as assigned, for collection management following procedures.
• Process files, references, and courtesy calls or collections to clients with overdue or delinquent accounts.
• Complete daily visit reports and enter all results of each management performed in the Oracle system.
• Verify performance and follow-up reports.
• Process received payments on the ground or disbursements of loans.
• Prepare payment booklets.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Position Requirements

• Basic knowledge of arithmetic, languages, spelling, and grammar. Precision and correctness in the verification of written documents and counting. Use of calculators for simple calculations, photocopiers, telephone systems, writing of simple documents in computer systems, machines for sending and transmitting documents (FAX) and any other type of office machine that requires basic and simple knowledge and skills.
