Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2. Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities. Continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity. In case of exposure to infectious disease, incumbent is required to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination series within a 24-hour period. Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment. May be assigned to irregular duties or when needed for special recreational events and related requirements. Work hours may involve weekdays, weekends, holidays and/or evenings/nights. In addition, the incumbent may be subject to additional background checks if required to have regular and recurring contact with children. A medical examination may be required, including hearing and eye exams. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following Possess and maintain the following certifications (A copy of each certification must be submitted at the time of application): Lifeguard (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard or Ellis.) American Red Cross Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional. CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent (i.e. Star Guard or Ellis.) First Aid. Customer service experience. Highly Preferred Candidates who possess highly preferred criteria below and meet the minimum qualifications above will be referred to the hiring manager first. American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent, i.e. Star Guard or Ellis Water Safety Instructor Certification.
