Step into a vital role supporting a student’s daily health needs in an engaging elementary school environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a positive impact during the upcoming school year, working closely as a 1:1 LPN in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN in Georgia
• Previous experience providing 1:1 nursing care, especially within a school-setting, is preferred
• Familiarity with g-tube/J-tube feeding, seizures, oral suctioning, supplemental oxygen, medication administration, and asthma management
• Ability to safely lift, assist, and closely monitor a student’s changing needs
• Strong communication skills and professionalism with students, families, and school staff
• Punctuality and reliability to meet early morning shift requirements

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on daily nursing care to a 5th grade student from home pickup, through the school day, and return trip home
• Administer and manage g-tube feeding, oxygen therapy, medication, and treatments per doctor’s orders and IEP
• Monitor vital signs, respond to medical needs such as seizures or asthma concerns, and intervene according to protocols
• Communicate clearly with teachers, student’s family, and educational team to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Ensure all documentation, reporting, and health records remain up to date and confidential
• Maintain safety standards while riding the bus and attending to the student throughout the day

This assignment runs from August through May, Monday through Friday, providing stability and the opportunity to develop a meaningful one-on-one relationship.
