Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification required
• Prior classroom experience working with students with diverse learning or developmental exceptionalities
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

• Familiarity with instructional adaptations and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Design, adapt, and deliver specialized lesson plans tailored to address three unique special education needs within the school environment
• Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Partner with classroom teachers to create inclusive, accessible learning experiences
• Provide direct instruction and targeted interventions, adjusting strategies as needed for student growth
• Advocate for student needs in meetings with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with district and state special education guidelines
• Participate in ongoing professional development to refine and advance teaching practices
