Software engineers will apply their skills to develop high-quality software for various military electronic systems such as Software Defined Radios, Avionics, and Electronic Warfare systems. Finally, you will network and collaborate to make lasting connections with peers, employees and leadership.Candidates will gain experience in:Designing, developing and testing software solutions utilizing Agile methodologies and sound software engineering principles while conforming to existing code development strategies and processesAssisting in other software engineering activities such as integration testing, algorithm & data analysis, software troubleshooting, and preparing documentation in accordance with established procedures.Utilizing either Windows PC or Linux based software development environment and either x86 or PowerPC target and test environmentDevelop and maintaining the SW test solutions to improve product testability while increasing yield throughout the test process. Integrate software solutions to validate and tune products, provide training to technicians in the art of troubleshooting and work to optimize throughput.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in CS (Computer Science), CE (Computer Engineering), or other Scientific degree with suitable software engineering content.0-3 years professional software development experienceSoftware coding utilizing modern programming languages (e.g. C++, C#, Java, etc)Object oriented design/developmentWindows/Linux/Unix OSMust be eligible for a US DoD security clearancePreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsReal-time embedded development or other hardware-related skillsExperience with TestStand, LabView, or other test software toolsExperience with the entire product life cycle development or parts of it: Requirements review, test plan creation, coding, and integration of test SW with test stands.Experience with SW version control and bug tracking tools.Security clearance (secret or higher)Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $70828 - $120408 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
