Food Services Assistant

Job Title
Duties
Assisting FSWB Leadership
Assists FSWB leadership with food and beverage. Food and beverage activities include, but are not limited to snack bars, catering, vending, beverage carts, contracts and any other operations related to food and beverage base wide. Assists in directing day-to-day operation that provides food and beverage service.
Support Duties
Performs related support duties required to include ordering supplies, cost menu cards, stocking, inventory, and food handling. Conducts inspections for safety, food storage, and sanitation. Performs food service quality evaluations.
Equipment and Logistics
Identifies new equipment times to bring into the food service system. Operates vehicle to pick up supplies, run errands, etc.
Cleanliness and Compliance
Responsible for operation's cleanliness, sanitation and compliance with AF health and safety regulations. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Cash Handling
Required to collect money, operate a cash register, POS and prepare documentation for cash accountability. Issue cash drawer, completes cash reports, and make daily deposits.
Cooking Assistance
Will be required to assists cooking while needed. Opens and closes the facility as required.
Work Progress
Checks work in progress to ensure compliance with established methods and reports progress of work to the supervisor. Follows established operating policies and procedures.
Recreational Facilities
Adheres to established policies to provide above average recreational facilities. Works under the supervision of an FSWB.
