About the Role:
Join Joint & Spine as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Waldwick, NJ, where you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. We are seeking a PTA who thrives in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys working as part of an integrated care team. You will work directly under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver hands-on care and guide patients through rehabilitation programs designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. This role is ideal for someone who is engaging, dependable, and motivated to grow within a multidisciplinary practice.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic exercise programs and functional rehabilitation activities
• Perform manual therapy techniques including soft tissue and mobility work
• Guide patients through structured rehab protocols and care plans
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document all treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with chiropractors and medical providers to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients on home exercises and lifestyle strategies to support recovery

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA license in New Jersey 1+ year of clinical experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow structured systems and protocols
