Job Summary

Visiting Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing behavioral health team.

We currently have patients located in Englewood, NJ 07631 and Piscataway, NJ 08854 who are in need of behavioral health services.

In this role, you will provide evidence-based mental health services to pediatric and adolescent patients in their homes . This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about supporting children and families while enjoying schedule flexibility, clinical support, and meaningful work in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents, including psychosocial history, symptoms, strengths, and treatment needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practices

• Provide individual and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities, including CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including social workers and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards

• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities

• Adhere to all ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution

• Active New Jersey LCSW or LPC license in good standing — required

• Experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents — required

• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with children and families

• Ability to work independently while providing services in a home and community-based setting

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing direct therapy services preferred.

• Schedule: Flexible — choose your own hours

• Availability: Day and evening opportunities Monday through Friday, with weekend opportunities as needed

• Compensation: Competitive per-diem rates based on experience
