To complement our rapid growth, we are actively sourcing for a Network Engineer to operate in a 24/7 Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS) environment maintaining IP Networking components in a production setting. In this role you will: Assist customers and field personnel in network activations for customers Participate in projects for Network Operation improvements Review and analyze history of network related incidents and perform preventive measures Troubleshoot network related issues and communicate with customers Implement best security practices Assist in managing network service providers and equipment Provide capacity analysis and planning Key Responsibilities Interact with external customers regularly to ensure smooth network activations and to troubleshoot any network connectivity related issues; may require some travel to customer site for escalated issues (10% or less) Partner closely with Network Architects and Engineers to improve data‑center and corporate network environments Initiate multiple projects for Network Operation improvements Partner with internal business units to best understand the organization’s needs and continuously improve and apply standards for operational excellence Review, analyze and execute network change requests Requirements 3‑5 years of experience in medium to large networks, IP Routing, Switching, and Security principles Demonstrate knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) MPLS, OSPF, and BGP, and how they interact with the network Demonstrated operational success with an exceptionally strong data‑driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges Telecommunications experience – VoIP, RTP, SIP peering/trunking and SBC is a huge plus Experience with implementations of solutions involving large data centers, interoffice routing plans, site‑to‑site VPNs, firewalls, IPSec, monitoring, etc. Hands‑on skills for Cisco IOS is required; IOS‑XR and Nexus OS preferred; document solutions with diagrams and proper description Knowledge and experience in Cisco Nexus 7k/5k/2k, Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Cisco ASA 5585 firewalls, ASR 1000 and 9000 routers, 3750 and 4900 switches, SSL‑VPN, authentication servers Experience with incident response, information assurance, computer security best practices, system hardening, vulnerability management, antivirus, SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS monitoring, and techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logs Knowledge of Linux network functions; SaaS/cloud‑based software environment a plus, but not required Excellent communications, both oral and written Company Benefits Company stocks Annual merit increase based on performance 15% night shift differential pay Paid leave with cash conversion HMO with free dependents Retirement plan Life insurance While on work from home setup: internet and meal allowance are provided Employee assistance program for mental and social well‑being Government‑mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG, 13th month pay, solo parent leave, special leave for women) Our headquarters are located in the beautiful Bishop Ranch Business Park in San Ramon, CA.
