Expected salary range of $162,000 to $180,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Responsibilities Primary Purpose of Position Provide management of the engineering function of accountability. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative to site and corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations. Participate in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding assigned staff. Participate as senior resource to NGG-wide programs and initiatives regarding standardized and enhanced engineering systems and processes. Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or nuclear) OR related science OR License Professional Engineer OR Active/Inactive SRO License with 5 years of engineering or related experience, which shall include 1 year of nuclear power plant experience Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants" Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer Registration Advanced technical degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA) Supervisory or managerial experience Company Description Constellation Energy Corporation (Nasdaq: CEG) is a Fortune 200 company headquartered in Baltimore and the nation’s largest producer of reliable, emissions-free energy. Role Description The Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bettendorf, IA, responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary engineering team. This role oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring solutions meet technical, safety, regulatory, and business requirements aligned with Constellation’s clean energy mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, coordinating cross-functional work, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving continuous improvement in engineering practices and systems. The Engineering Manager collaborates closely with operations, product, and other technical teams to integrate new technologies, resolve complex issues, optimize performance, and support long-term reliability and sustainability goals. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills, including the ability to coach, develop, and support diverse engineering teams. Candidates should possess Software Development experience and Integration skills to guide technical design, system interoperability, and implementation quality. Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver engineering initiatives on time and within scope. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in energy, utilities, industrial systems, or other complex technical environments is beneficial. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
