Research Technician IIDivision: PediatricsWork Arrangement: Onsite onlyLocation: Houston, TXSalary Range: $35.591 - $41,872FLSA Status: NonexemptWork Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.SummaryThe Holder lab seeks to understand the genetic and neurologic basis of Neurodevelopmental and Neuropsychiatric disorders. The ideal candidate for this position will be excited to expand their knowledge and skills in basic science research. Duties will include DNA, protein and RNA isolation from various mouse tissues. Polymerase chain reaction, DNA agarose gel preparation and electrophoresis. Analysis and documentation of PCR results. Mouse husbandry and behavior studies. Four years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement. No experience requiredPreferred QualificationsMust have experience handling mice.
