The Radiology Tech operates radiology equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures. Responsibilities Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures including portables, trauma, ER, fluoroscopy and surgery. Obtains all required documentation and supplies. Ensures correct patient information on requests, reports and PAC's. Organizes work area and maintains supplies. Qualifications Education: Graduate of allied health program Experience: 0‑2 years License: Radiography (ARRT) certified radiologic technologist (state license) Certifications: BLS/CPR (American Heart Association) Organization Description St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420‑bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. It has served Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state‑designated pediatric trauma referral center, certified comprehensive stroke center, and has a level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated children’s hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando.
