Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Pediatric Medical Surgical unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards across night shift hours
• Float within the hospital or to an affiliate facility as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Adhere to unit protocols and compliance standards, including holiday scheduling requirements
• Maintain current BLS and PALS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license - must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (18 months preferred; see notes below)
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Nursing degree from a program accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation
• SSN and date of birth required at time of submittal
• Must be available to work every third weekend
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Indiana residents are not accepted for this Medical Surgical position

• 18 months or more of Pediatric Medical Surgical RN experience
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments within a hospital system
• Experience working night shift in an acute care environment
