HRIS Analyst / HR Systems Analyst (Hybrid Work Model)

Full job description We’re seeking a customer and solution-oriented HR Systems Analyst to provide business analysis, configuration and support for HR applications and reporting solutions. What You’ll Do Become knowledgeable in Sentry’s HR processes and applications Collaborate with HR departments to understand their business processes and system/reporting needs Collaborate with team members and leverage documentation to understand HR systems and workflows Apply this knowledge when designing and configuring system enhancements and reports that meet requirements, solve business problems and provide an optimal and easily maintained user experience Recommend changes that will enhance or streamline workflow processes and ensure data quality Configure and provide administration for Sentry’s HR applications (Workday and others) Implement configuration changes and technology solutions in support of business objectives, system change requests and defects Coordinate and lead development of solutions for enhancements, upgrades and patches from requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, rollout through post‑production validation Maintain and ensure ongoing operations of HR systems Troubleshoot when errors occur, identify root causes, implement resolutions and provide support to application users Build and maintain HR reporting solutions: design, configure, and test operational reports and ensure accuracy and security of data; provide ad‑hoc information and data analysis requests; extract data from various sources; identify patterns in large data sets to provide useful insights for HR leaders Ensure compliance to data & security governance: ensure confidential and appropriate security and access systems; establish and maintain system data integrity by performing data analysis and audits What it Takes Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience 3 years of development/configuration work experience – from requirements through solution development/configuration, testing, implementation and support of technology solutions Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and conceptual skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group Inquisitive with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to HR application and technology changes Ability to work independently and lead technology projects with minimal supervision Demonstrated positive, customer‑service oriented approach to supporting the business Experience with Workday and leveraging data visualization tools like Tableau is considered a plus What You’ll Receive Hybrid work model: Monday and Friday work from home if you choose, Tuesday through Thursday required in office at our Home Office in Stevens Point, WI Workstation in office and equipment for home office (laptop and other materials) provided prior to start Meal subsidy available for associates who report to an office 401(k) plan with a dollar‑for‑dollar match on your first eight percent, plus immediate vesting Tuition reimbursement program through Sentry University (SentryU) Generous paid‑time‑off plan and volunteer‑time off Group medical, dental, vision, life insurance, parental leave, and health and wellness benefits Employee assistance program for well‑being support Sentry Foundation gift‑matching program to encourage charitable giving Equal Employment Opportunity Sentry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
