Lead Data Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer Location: Portland, OR Onsite Job Type: Contract Experience: 14+ Years Mandatory

Mandatory Requirements Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in the following:- DBT
- Snowflake
- Advanced SQL
- Python
- Data Modeling
- CI/CD
- Healthcare Domain Experience
- Design and implement scalable data models and data pipelines aligned with business requirements.
- Develop complex DBT models using advanced features, including macros, packages, and custom materializations.
- Work extensively with Snowflake for query and warehouse performance optimization.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries using CTEs, complex joins, analytic and window functions.
- Perform data profiling, including analysis of keys, cardinality, data types, precision, scale, and data skew.
- Implement and support data quality and testing frameworks.
- Support CI/CD processes for DBT deployments.
- Develop and maintain data models supporting healthcare and payer-related data requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Advanced SQL CTEs, complex joins, analytic & window functions
- Snowflake query & warehouse performance optimization
- DBT advanced models, macros, packages & custom materializations
- Python intermediate or higher
- Data Profiling keys, cardinality, data types, precision, scale & skew
- Data Quality & Testing Frameworks
- CI/CD for DBT deployments
- Data Modeling
- Healthcare/Payer experience
