About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified OR RN in Arlington, Virginia, 22202!

Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Virginia

Start Date: ASAP (dependent on EPIC training schedule)

Location: Northern Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week assignment; specific shift schedule provided by manager; call requirements include 3-4 call shifts every 6 weeks (8 hours each); must be available within 30 miles/30 minutes of facility for call

Highlights:

• Work in a Level II Trauma Center with exposure to trauma, neuro, and ortho spine cases
• Gain experience with EPIC OpTime (OR) charting system; accelerated or 2-day EPIC training provided
• Participate in a structured orientation program with non-billable modules (up to 7 hours)
• Join a collaborative surgical team at a smoke/nicotine-free facility
• Float assignments, if required, rotate with permanent staff in accordance with facility policy
• 13-week contract with ASAP start availability

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license or Compact license (must be active and in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred, with background in trauma, neuro, and/or ortho spine procedures
• EPIC OpTime experience preferred (training schedule dependent on experience level)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31; medical exemptions only)
