Janitor Part Time Manual Labor Selmer, TN, US 5 days ago Requisition ID: 1735 Excel Facility Services is looking for a reliable janitor that will be able to provide excellent cleaning service. Job Summary You will be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and in orderly condition, and you will be required to execute the scope of work for all assigned locations and locations assigned to you by management for coverage. Janitor's Responsibilities Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Clean and sanitize bathrooms Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures Clean windows and mirrors Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition Follow safety rules and use safety precautions Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building Restock supplies in areas assigned Maintain areas in an attractive and clean condition and notify supervisor of necessary repairs of facilities and/or equipment Participate in workshops, training, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions Request janitorial supplies from the supervisor to ensure adequate quantities for daily use Ensure that the doors are locked at night (if applicable, ask your manager) Use Time and Attendance system to report hours and payroll purposes Complete IVR system if applicable or notify manager ASAP if any issues; not completing IVR to report services can affect hours paid Always wear uniform and ID while working Skills and Education Requirements Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow oral and written instructions Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products Good attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently as needed Ability to prioritize multiple tasks What’s in it for you Great environment with friendly and helpful leadership Direct Deposit Biometric Timekeeping with access to view timecards from your smartphone 24/7 Employee discount program after 90 days Holidays observed by the company Two weeks vacation after one year Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1 hour per day, from 11:00am - 12:00pm.
