Service Advisor

Responsibilities Greet customers and maintain a positive customer relationship throughout the entire experience to ensure repeat business. Consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs. Schedule all service work and supervise administration and warranty processes. Communicate with the Parts team for the technicians’ parts needs and verify that the parts are entered properly on service orders. Communicate effectively to customers regarding technicians’ findings. Maintain and manage workload in a fast-paced work environment with an emphasis on multi-tasking. Qualifications Previous experience in automotive or construction industry preferred. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to manage heavy phone volume with strong data entry skills while paying close attention to detail. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of competence with computer-related programs. Professional, hardworking, customer-friendly approach to service, and comfortable working in a team setting. Ability to learn company designated software within a reasonable amount of time. Reports To Service Department Manager. Compensation & Work Hours Hourly rate: $23.00 - $28.00 DOE. Full-time position. Monday-Friday (7am-5pm), times may vary throughout the year but generally 7am-5pm. The noise level is moderate and occasionally loud on the shop floor. The role may require standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting or moving office supplies up to twenty pounds. Safety protective gear should be worn as needed.
